Here's the deal. We live in our heads more than we live anywhere else. You might move houses, jobs, or cities, but your mind comes with you. So if your thoughts are chaotic, your peace is temporary. A few years ago, a friend asked me a simple question: what are you thinking about? Like most of us, I did not have a clear answer. My thoughts were moving from the people I love, to something I said last week, to what everyone might think of me now.

That was the moment I realized how easily our thoughts begin to narrate our worth. There is always a voice running in the background, but we can slow down, notice it, and return to what is true. When we pause long enough to listen, that voice loses its power and truth has room to speak again. Peace begins when we stop treating every passing thought like a final word.
